This field should contain a Unique Reference Number (URN), as shown on get information about schools website. All School Direct trainees should be associated with a lead school. In some cases, for example where students are self-funded, they may not be associated with a lead school, in these cases, the valid entry ‘900030 - Not available’ must be returned. Where the lead school does not have a URN, the below generic codes should be used:
Lead Partners Providers delivering ITT training in partnership with an accredited provider, should record those courses as ENTRYRTE = 12 or ENTRYRTE = 13". DfE needs to know who is delivering the training in a partnership arrangement and the Student.SDLEAD field should be used to capture this. For Lead Partners who don’t have a URN (e.g. HEIs), DfE would expect code 900020 'Other establishment without a URN' to be used and when DfE receive the trainee data, they will attempt to update the Lead Partner stored in Register so that it is correctly linked to the Lead Partner. | ||||||
