Type | field |
Short name | UKPRNAPPLY |
Description |
This field records the UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN) of the institution students apply to. |
Applicable to | England Northern Ireland Scotland Wales |
Coverage | Courses where students apply other than through the registering institution |
Notes |
This field will be used to indicate where students apply through one institution but are taught at another. This field may be completed where the KIS is returned by the teaching institution rather than the regitering institution. Details of the franchising arrangements should be captured using; HESACourse.TEACHUKPRN, ILRAims.TEACHUKPRN, HESACourse.REGUKPRN and ILRAims.REGUKPRN correctly. Please see the Collaborative provision document for further details on collaborative programmes. There is further specific information for joint schools in the document Guidance for joint medical and pharmaceutical schools. Example All of the students at Poppleton College are franchised out from Poppleton University, the KIS is returned by Poppleton University and the franchise would be indicated using KISCourse.TEACHUKPRN. If for one programme applications are made through Poppleton University then the KISCourse.UKPRNAPPLY would be set to the UKPRN of Poppleton University, for the other courses where students apply directly to the college KISCourse.UKPRNAPPLY would not be completed. |
