Notes |
This entity collects the ILR qualification aim reference(s) that the KIS course relates to. KIS links to ILR course information one or two years in arrears. For example, for the KIS published in September 2013 the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) qualification aim references for the 2009/10, 2010/11 and 2011/12 reporting years should be given. Where a course links to more than one qualification aim on the ILR all qualification aim references should be given. The same qualification aim references may be reported for different KIS courses where the institution admits to, or markets, the same course under different names. In adding links to ILR courses, only the ILR courses which are the embodiment of the course for which a KIS is being produced should be linked. For example, where an institution is producing two KIS for two similar courses one with a compulsory sandwich year (KISCourse.SANDWICH = 2) and one where the sandwich course is not available (KISCourse.SANDWICH = 0), then the KIS where the sandwich course is not available should only link to the non-sandwich course on the ILR and vice-versa. This field must not be returned where KISCourse.KISTYPE = 2 or 3. |
