Notes |
The UCAS Application Code/Number together with the UCAS Personal identifier (Student.UCASPERID) forms the UCAS Application Identifier. The application code/number will normally be a four character code (two alpha and two numeric) or the old style UCAS Application Number of nine numeric characters. For students entering from 2011/12 and onwards, the old style UCAS Application Number is no longer valid in this field, as it does not appear in UCAS transactions. The four character UCAS Application Code should be returned instead. This field is used by HESA to identify and validate students who entered an HEI through a UCAS scheme. |
